Abstract

The postdoctoral project Saying Truth. On Heidegger, Plato, and aletheia, based on the heideggerian interpretation of Plato, aims to systematize, articulate, and present one of the fundamental aspects of Heidegger thought: the problem of "truth". It proceeds, then, first of all, 1) addressing the heideggerian interpretation of Plato to be able then, secondly, 2) to locate the displacements that take place on Heidegger´s thought from the question of truth to the question of aletheia. Also, it provides 3) an analysis of the reception and impact of this issue in contemporary philosophy. For Heidegger, a transit (Übergang) is produced in Plato from aletheia qua unconcealment (Unverborgenheit) to truth (Wahrheit) qua correctness (Richtigkeit). Heidegger understands this transit as an event (Geschehen) that marks the destiny of the history of thought as metaphysics. From the perspective of the ontological value recovery of saying, the postdoctoral project Saying Truth. On Heidegger, Plato, and alétheia offers a reading of "truth" in Heidegger as aletheia, corresponding to the challenges of contemporary thought. In this sense, this project is opened to saying and truth considerations in other authors: especially, on the philosophy of difference and otherness (Lévinas, Deleuze, Foucault and Derrida) and philosophical hermeneutics (Gadamer and RicSur).
