This project will consist of Synthesis, characterization and applications of nanoporous silicas and ordered carbon reply, obtained from the nanocasting strategy using lignin as modifying agent and source of carbon. SBA-15 and FDU-1 materials, with hexagonal and cubic structures, respectively, will be synthesized in acid medium, using tetraethylorthosilicate (TEOS) as silica source and, P-123 (PEO-PPO-PEO) BASF and Vorasurf 504 ® (PEO-PBO-PEO) Dow Chem triblock copolymers, as templates. The characterization of the obtained materials will be made by using TG / DTG, SAXS, N2 adsorption isotherms and transmission electron microscopy. Pre-concentration columns for retention of Cu2 +, Cd2 +, Pb2 + and Ni2 + metal ions will developed using mesoporous silica impregnated with lignin in proportions previously established. Samples will be activated in a tubular furnace at a temperature of 800 ° C under a dynamic atmosphere of N2 with flow rate of 200 mL min-1. Measurements of remaining ions in solution will be performed using voltammetric methods. The Carbon Reply will be used as support for the enzymes and metal immobilizations for subsequent construction of biosensors and biomimetic sensors, respectively. These electrodes will be characterized using electrochemical techniques.
