Abstract

This experiment aims to study the sources used by Africanized honey bee Apis mellifera and evaluate pollen production, both quantitatively and qualitatively, over the year in Ribeirão Preto. To do this, will be used for pollen extractors in hives, with six replicates, where samples will be collected every month. In addition to weight of these samples will be carried pollen analysis to identify the floral resources visited by bees. These samples are also analyzed for the presence of protein and minerals during the year. (AU)
