Abstract

With FCS (powerful technique for quantitative research on properties of membranes) will be investigated specific conditions of changes in lipid bilayers associated with variations in composition, concentration and temperature controlled and inclusion of various types of molecules,within the bilayer and in its interface with the aqueous medium. Correlating the project with interest in anti-leishmania activity of amphiphilic compounds will be studied structural changes in lipid bilayers containing phospholipids and sphingolipids, observed in the presence of hexadecilfosfocolina (miltefosine) and miltefosine labeled with fluorescent groups.
