Abstract

The aim of this proposal is to prepare nickel-ormosil based catalysts for the water gás-shift reaction. The impact of the type and amount of functional groups in the ormosil on the nickel dispersion, as well as, the use of phosphotungstate as catalyst activator will be evaluated. The heterogeneous catalysts will be prepared by sol-gel reaction and further nickel and phosphotungstate adsorption. They are going to be characterized by X-Ray Diffraction, Vibrational Spectroscopy, Temperature Programmed Reduction and X-Ray Fluorescence. (AU)
