Abstract

The networks are configured as a great center of circulation of information readily accessible, the digital universe is composed of various information, including digital images, which are captured and disseminated by various types devices every day around the world. In this sense, the research problem is constructed by asking what are the metadata (attributes) necessary for the representation of digital imaging. It points out the objective of this research is in determining which metadata necessary for the representation of the digital image, based on the description tools pertaining to the Treatment Description Information (TDI) for its standardization. The methodology to be used will consist of a descriptive and exploratory analysis of available literature on the topic proposed, allowing the construction of a theoretical knowledge of the instruments that guide the construction of representations in the area of Information Science. From the exploratory and descriptive study of literature, you can achieve the proposed objectives of the research universe and come up with some solutions and considerations on the research problem.
