Abstract

This research is a reflection on how the narratives are mobilized, actions and representations on the northeast by the movement of migrants from the Northeast, more especificificamente the Caravan of Cordel, a group founded in 2009 in Sao Paulo. Investigate the reinterpretation that are built by individuals who maintain a strong relationship with the mnemonic northeast, and the experiences that geographic and symbolic. I assume that although these poets, singers, artists etc. crystallize a certain image of the northeast where they were born, creating a moving northeast deterritorialized characteristic of your space and reterritorialise border northeast/southeast, through a discursive and symbolic. I aim, therefore, to examine this process and deterritorializing reterritorializante that become possible in border relations of the Caravan of Cordel, whether symbolic or physical/geographical.
