Abstract

Currently there are so many problems in the city of São Paulo, mostly because of the urban bloat and the absence of adequate urban planning. Moreover, the strong interdependencies and vulnerabilities to external factors have gone unnoticed. This work intends to understand these situations, in São Paulo, Brazil, and in others BRIC countries. The object of study is the Social Housing of the Project Nova Luz, in the city core. All the work will be developed with researches of LEAC, Lab of Studies in Contemporary Architecture - UNICAMP. (AU)
