Abstract

The primary processing, or food industrial destined to the animal feeding and human being in recent years responsible for one was raised production of residues, that in its majority, mainly possess nutritional potential for the formularization of diets for bovines. These residues have received, however, greater attention how much to the quality control, passing to the by-product category, which presents high potential for reduction of the costs with feeding, over all of confined bovines. It is important to emphasize that in 2008/2009 a research project was developed, with resources of the FAPESP, process nº 06/56280-8, optimizing a method of extraction of the oil of the avocado pulp, for production of biodiesel. As residue dry pulp bran was gotten avocado. Considering itself that this by-product, in nature on average contains 2.1% of proteins, 6.3% of soluble carbohydrates, 1.6% of staple fibres, 4mg of sodium, 87 µg of vitamin, 0,11mg of B1 vitamin, 0,20mg of vitamin B2, 1,6 mg of B3 vitamin, 14 mg of vitamin C, 10 mg of calcium, 42 mg of match and 0,6mg of iron, is presented as a food in potential for formularization of bovine ration. For this one become necessary to effect this evaluation, therefore the present project of objective research the physical-chemical characterization of the avocado pulp bran. (AU)
