Abstract

In the context of the new field called Magnonics (where magnons are the information carriers, same role of electrons in electronics), we present here a research project that aims to make an extended study of the Non-Equilibrium Thermodynamics of Excited Magnons. In this study we will focus on two principal aspects. Initially, the "Irreversible Statistical Thermodynamics of Excited Magnons", in which will be developed a thermodynamic characterization of non-equilibrium condensation of excited magnons. Other question to be considered, we will be the study the "Monochromatic Radiation Emission of the Condensate", where the mechanisms of interaction between the condensate of magnons and emitted photons will be analyzed, intending to elucidate the recent experimental observation of monochromatic emission of radiation from excited thin films of Yttrium-Iron Garnet. We aspire to conclude this research in two years, divulging theirs results through the publication of articles in international journals.
