Abstract

A detailed study at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary, Campus Jaboticabal-SP, to verify the efficiency of in ovo inoculation of Bacillus subtilis and its addition or not during the creation phase, with the order to find a method that provide a beneficial early colonization in the gastrointestinal tract of birds and to promote better development of cells of the small intestine, consequently better animal performance. The experiment will consist of two stages (hatching and rearing). In incubation will be used in 600 fertile eggs from broiler. The design will be blocks with five treatments (levels of application of Bacillus subtilis), 120 eggs / treatment. The parameters analyzed will be quantification and identification of Bacillus subtilis, hatching rate of fertile eggs, hatching rate total embryonic mortality, chick quality, birth weight and biometry of the organs. After analyzing the data collected in the experiment conducted during the incubation, the experiment will be conducted during creation. The study design will be in blocks with a 2x2 factorial design (adding or no probiotic in the incubation and addition of probiotics or not at the stage of creation), with 8 repetitions with 50 birds each, totaling 1600 birds. The parameters analyzed will be quantification and identification of Bacillus subtilis, biometry of organs morphometry, scanning electron microscopy, and mitotic rate in the crypts apoptosis of the small intestine, performance and carcass yield. Analyses statistics will be performed using the Statistical Analysis System SAS ® (2002) and in case of significance are the averages compared by Tukey test at 5% probability. (AU)
