Abstract

The Toyota system or model of flexible production has emerged as an alternative to the Fordist crisis that began to suffer after the 70s. This new model introduced new ways of conceiving the production process, through design that is the consumer that dictates the production, and the creation of the system Kaban, cell production, and quality control circles (QCC), among other innovations. Such changes in the productive system reached various levels of society and introduced a new form of management, called by some strategic theorists. In contrast to technocratic management, strategic management provides a vertical hierarchy, the introduction of more intellectual tasks, increases the technical division of labor, and increases mediations, economic, ideological, and psychological. In this context, emerged in the 60s, within the European universities, the first junior companies. They are a complement to the formation of the university, as it allows them to provide advice and to experience the dynamics of a company and also the labor market. Today Brazil is the country that has more junior companies in the world, totaling around 1,200. The objective is to investigate how the characteristics of strategic companies, along with its contradictions, are incorporated by junior companies and how individuals are formed from them. For so much, the experience of a junior company is the object of analysis. It is intended to use the qualitative method of analysis and collect data from observations and interviews with participants of the company.(AU)
