Abstract

The objective of this research project is to identify which environmental practices are being adopted in consumer electronics companies in order to integrate their supply chains. The object chosen for study the research is the electronics sector presenting a high degree innovation of in its products and therefore a high level of disposal post-consumer. Running this search will be done through the strategy of case studies. For this two electronics companies in the sector will be chosen to be visited. These visits will be made direct observation day-to-day business, interviewing both managers of environmental and supply chain management, in addition to secondary data collection provided by the companies. After collecting the data analysis will be made based on the same quest for convergence or divergence of what was obtained with the existing theoretical framework on the subject. The implementation of this research has great social relevance, its results generate improvements in the production process and discard what makes the planet cleaner and more sustainable. It also presents practical implications for changing day-to-day business by entering new techniques that generate benefits for all and competitive advantages for the company. The further study proposes a practice on a subject little studied nationally.(AU)
