Abstract

This project aims to conduct a comparative analysis of journals and thematic El Machete and A Classe Operária, published respectively by the Mexican Communist Party, PCM, and the Brazilian Communist Party, PCB, between the 1920 and 1930. Through the Comparative History and History Connected, we investigate how these forms, representing the Communist parties in Mexico and Brazil, built a political and social identity in its pages, through a study covering conflicts, political projects, propaganda graphical and textual reading and journalistic discourse and social activist of the two communist publications.
