Abstract

In Brazil, one of the ways to implement the so-called "Political equality" has been through political actions called affirmative action, positive steps to increase minority representation in employment and education. The growing wave of intolerance based on race, origin, sexuality and religion, however, request new parameters interpreted in light of economic and social changes of recent decades. These phenomena that happen in a globalized world imply that local actions are connected to the research and initiatives in other parts of the world. Objective of this research is also the creation of international research groups on the subject that produce articles for the dissemination of this research, especially as a way of subsidizing these discussions in the traditional media and new media.
