Abstract

The objective of the research is to enlight the meaning and wideness of the expression "best interest of the child". In this way, national and foreign doctrine will be researched, as well as decisions from national courts, with the purpose of bringing objective criteria or parameters to be used in the decisions affecting children and teenagers, still growing people.
