Abstract

Three decades have passed since the foundation of the Workers Party. Much has been said about the party and their experiences during these 30 years, but very little is discussed about what makes up the "petista". Considering the change of values occurred within the PT and its base over the years, our goal is to highlight and analyze the traces, values and beliefs among political party leaders of the PT in the state of Panará, compared with the components of the current political culture of middle-leaders of the PT in general.
