Abstract

This work will be carried out to validate the system of non-linear formulation, such as nutritional strategy and mathematical modeling as a tool for broilers, allowing a lower cost and increased profitability of production, each stage of the creation (Initial, Growth and Termination), seeking: 1 - Convenience - The PPFR (Practical Program for Formulation of Rations) combines, adapts and incorporates, respectively, three major resources: the Brazilian-Tables (Rostagno, 2011) b-The ideas and design the spreadsheet WUFFDA (Pesti et al ., 2005) and c-The mathematical model of Guevara (2004), thus providing the fulfillment of minimum nutritional requirements, while optimizing profits. 2 - Originality - Its originality lies in being the first non-linear program for optimization of feeds, free and open and can be applied in research, teaching (undergraduate and Postgraduate) and outreach (nutritionists, formulators). 3 - Score - If confirmed our hypotheses, the concept of non-linear formulation (Ration maximum profit) is more appropriate to address the concept of precision nutrition for broilers. Therefore, we believe that the project is rich in several issues of merit, for a viable concept and current nutritional practice (nutrition precision) and can now be applied using the worksheet PPFR, which should be open and accessible (use of software Excel, Microsoft), allowing adjustments with accuracy and precision in mathematical models adopted as decision support.
