Abstract

To assess the influence of different sources (natural and the artificial) of lysine and methionine on performance and apparent digestibility coefficients (ADC) of diets for growth in Nile tilapia. 240 juvenile will be distributed in 24 boxes of cement, with capacity of 100 liters, under supply and continuous aeration, each experimental plot will consist of ten juveniles with five grams and four replicas. Six experimental diets will be tested varying lysine and methionine sources on performance these animals over 90 days in the criteria for daily weight gain (ADG), daily feed intake (DFI), feed conversion ratio (CAA), Index consumption of food (ICA), Specific Growth Rate (EER) and protein efficiency ratio (TEF). In the digestibility trial will be conducted in 16 fiberglass collectors, with approximately 80 liters, constructed according to the modified Ghelph system, equipped with a system of continuous circulation of water. Statistical analysis will be performed using SAS software version 9.2.
