Abstract

The project is constructed to think and interpret the carioca's urban space, especially the south side of the city, from a de musical legacy of Antônio Carlos Brasileiro de Almeida Jobim (1927-1994). The project will try to understand the work of Tom Jobim and he's a relationship with the Rio de Janeiro development with the help of geography and also based on theory and methods from other sciences, that also work with music, like history, sociology, musicology, ethnomusicology, linguistics, literature, and anthropology.(AU)
