Abstract

The knowledge of Anura's diet is important to different ecological niches. That allows understanding of the natural history of species. We intend to know the feeding habits of the insular and continental populations of Haddadus binotatus. We will use 200 adults from four islands and 4 coast sites. All of the specimens have already been collected and they are in Coleção de anfíbios (CFBH), UNESP-Rio Claro. Stomachs will be removed through an abdominal incision and their contents will be analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. Prey will be identified under a stereomicroscope to order (or family for ants). (AU)
