Abstract

The book Primaveras (1859) by Camimiro de Abreu has a singular literature value for its poems that establish a dialogue with the poetic tradition from a period in which Brazilian literature was consolidating itself. Based on that, the present project aims to conduct a rereading of Casimiro de Abreu's literary work, trying to identify vestiges of a local romantic imaginary in his poems.(AU)
