Abstract

The goal of the present research is the interpretation of controversial points in Schopenhauer´s philosophy, in what relates to his metaphysics of Will. It matters to establish the specificity of his thought in comparison with other philosophies called "idealists". The study of Julius Frauenstadt, the most important follower of Schopenhauer School, has the meaning to analyze the Schopenhauer reception by his more immediate disciples, in order to open new valuable paths of interpretation in Schopenhauer reading.
