Abstract The design of a model predictive controller (MPC) for integrating systems with time delay is still one of challenges faced in the control literature. Allied to this scenery, uncertainties arise from both phenomenological and empiric models used by MPC. The combination of these behaviors comprise the vast majority of industrial chemical processes and, therefore, the potential need of predictive control gathered to the economic targets may lead them to more profitable operating points. From the foregoing context along with limitation of theme in the literature provide the motivation for developing a stable MPC able to combine all above features. The aim of this project is to develop a robust stable MPC of time delay integrating systems with optimizing and zone control. | |
