Abstract

The Web has an extensive content available to a diverse population. Ensure accessibility to all users is a difficult task, even with a large list of recommendations provided by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), from its Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI). There are accessibility evaluation tools that analyse the artifacts to the guidelines in order to get automated results, as Hera, TAW, CynthiaSays and DaSilva, producing and creating various data tests. To facilitate processing and comparison by providing a common language, the W3C developed the Evaluation and Report Language (EARL), established in 2001. Its latest version was released in October 2009 and is in Draft status. The test results include problem reports, evaluations and tests the claims of conformity. The subject can be a test site, an authoring tool, the user agent or other entity. So, EARL is flexible, allowing any person, entity or organization, contrast test results for any application with a set of criteria. This work aims at developing an environment for analysis of assessments from reports generated by case studies, given advances in accessibility, usability, the correlation between these two concepts and the automatic generation of reports for the tool EARL Accessibility Util.
