Abstract

The research will test the applicability of the urban modeling system UrbanSim for the development of models of urban development for the ZEIS 3 territories. The parameters used by the system will be studied as well as its mechanisms of scenarios development, verifying its compatibility with the Brazilian scenario. The research also intends to evaluate the effectiveness of the strategies adopted in ZEIS 3 studying the models and the scenarios developed with the UrbanSim, predicting the possible consequences of establishing such zones in the central region of São Paulo. It also intends to develop occupation models for the ZEIS 3 "C028" for LABAUT evaluation, identifying the emergence of problems related to environmental comfort in the territory.
