Abstract

The spatial analysis produced in recent years began to incorporate concepts that express not only a dimension of objects and their setting and existence on the territory but are bound by these concepts' dimensions that result in the understanding of social and productive and its transformations in the work and social reproduction. The concept of technical density, for example, bears this explanatory capacity by involving not only the objects and processes, especially its ability to engender and transform social relations of production. In this context, in the case of pulp and paper production in Jacareí, their techniques in the production structure and dynamics, cause changes in the regional production matrix, resulting from primary production specialization. Also, deepen the processes of homogenization of the territory and territorial vulnerability. Considering the forms of composition of the territory, as being vital in assessing the relationships of power and its clashes between political projects and socio-spatial practices and determining different degrees or densities and also different techniques. And that is expressed in the determination of capacity or internal policies and subordination to the logic of market models. A process that can not be established solely on the level of relations between the company and territory, but, above all, business and society, considering the socio-spatial consequences that such a relationship engenders.(AU)
