Abstract

Chronic pain is a common problem in the population and a major source of demand for public health services, to affect health in all its aspects, there is a need for evaluation and treatment. Individuals may present with headache painful changes in perceptions, disability, and cervical and global features. This study aims to evaluate the presence of degenerative changes of the cervical spine and posture in patients with cervicogenic headache, migraine and tension-type headache (episodic and chronic) who attend tertiary health care, and to determine the association of these changes in cervical posture with aspects of functioning and disability worldwide. This will select 60 individuals of both sexes, with the medical diagnosis of migraine, cervicogenic headache and tension-type headache in the outpatient clinic of Headache and Craniofacial Algia the University Hospital of Ribeirão Preto - HCFMRP / USP, and 20 of these caregivers individuals to compose the control group with no history of headache in the last 3 months. These will fill in questionnaires about chronic pain, cutaneous allodynia, disability and neck and overall functionality, will be sent after the radiology service. The results will be done with the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test to determine the type of distribution of the variables studied.
