Abstract

The development of research in the area of Energy by teachers and students of the Faculty of Engineering Guaratinguetá/UNESP is offering the opportunity for new enterprises to be established on campus with external resources. A proposal that is been discussed is the construction of a sustainable building for the "Agency Sustainability" and "House of the Visiting Professor; the first proposal aims at disseminating information to the internal and external community, and support, based on academic research, administrative activities, while the second proposal would support the presence of external researchers to UNESP with a view to greater internationalization of the Graduate Program in Mechanical Engineering Unit. The proposed work is part of these efforts to identify goals for suppliers of products/services with environmental and social involvement that can become partners in the construction of the building, to identify new energy technologies and sustainable construction techniques that can be integrated into the project of a building, analyzing their cost/benefit for adoption in the project, developing the design and sustainable building design, considering the technological aspects previously identified, with the presentation of the design decisions.
