Abstract

The Espírito Santo Basin is characterized as a passive margin basin, it was configurated along the Gondwana break-up. The study area was located on the north part of the Espirito Santo Basin on the limited with Mucuri Basin. The methodology includes seismic interpretation of several sections, where it was identified stratigraphic horizons and main geologic features.To characterize the petroleum system associated with the regions of the gas producing fields (Peroá and Cangoá) and oil producers (Dolphin and Shark) in the shallow waters of the Espirito Santo Basin. Will be used to integrate data from stratigraphic analysis (based on well logs), stratigraphic seismic (based on seismic lines) as well with the tectonic evolution of the region.The main objective is to characterize the petroleum system associated with the regions of the gas producing fields (Peroá and Cangoá) and oil producers (Golfinho and Cação) in the shallow waters of the Espirito Santo Basin. Will be used to integrate data from stratigraphic analysis (based on well logs), stratigraphic seismic (based on seismic lines) as well with the tectonic evolution of the region.The data for the project execution will be required to BDEP - Database Exploration and Production of ANP - National Petroleum Agency. These data are public and free for academic purposes.It is anticipated that the requested data consisting of 2D and 3D seismic (public), a total of 40 seismic lines and profile set well at least 18 wells, gravity and magnetic data in the region. All these data will be interpreted in Laboratory Interpretation of Seismic Data and Geological located in UNESPetro.
