Abstract

Brazil is presented as the main country to deploy on a large scale, an alternative fuel to oil. However, several factors interfere with crop production (soil, climate, management, and variety). This work aims to study the ecophysiological behavior as sap flow, transpiration, stomatal conductance and photosynthesis of 867515 RB variety in response to environmental variables such as global radiation, photosynthetically active radiation, vapor pressure deficit of the atmosphere and leaf water potential before dawn, making the scaling from leaf to plant and proposed for the watershed. This will install a stand of cane sugar, with an area of 2500 m² located at the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering, State University of Campinas. Will mount an electrical device for measuring sap flow through the insertion of probes in the xylem where heat dissipation occurs. Through the automatic analyzer of photosynthesis and fluorescence-LI-2 6400XTR brand LI-COR, will be performed measurements of photosynthesis, released gases (CO2), stomatal conductance and transpiration. For the purpose of monitoring the disponibildiade soil water, plants will be installed in water tanks with a volume of 5m³, which will monitor the conduct ecophysiological. To this end, each individual will be chosen for three healthy leaves and fully expanded. With the determination of ecophysiological behavior will be prepared to change of scale for plant and leaf plot, through modeling, verifying the correlation between smaller and larger scale, providing knowledge about the variety in your development environment and generating information to suit better management and farming, thus, exploit the local production and promoting the best crop yield in order to use water resources efficiently.
