Abstract

Objective: this study aims to analyze the social performance of students, graduates of the fourth year of speech therapy before and after entering the therapeutic process of their patients. Method: participants in this study were 30 students of both genders, aged between 19 and 34 years, and 30 audiologists formed with at least three and no more than seven years of clinical experience, of both genders. Participants will be divided into two groups: G1-speech, composed of 30 students, and G2-speech, composed of 30 professionals, to compose the control group. As data collection procedure will be applied Social Skills Inventory (IHS-Del-Prette, 2001) and the characterization questionnaire and training of the therapist. The data will be sent for statistical processing to compare the performance obtained from 60 study participants and then correlate the different variables.(AU)
