Abstract

The learning of reading and writing is linked to the domain of language and the capacity for symbolization, being a product of culture, learned and mediated by interactions with others. From its beginning, it corresponds to a conscious voluntary act, in which the instruments of expression are configured as object of the activity. However, factors can influence children's school development, among them aspects of organic, intellectual / cognitive and emotional origin. Therefore, the objective of this study is to analyze the writing performance of students with difficulties in social skills and / or behavioral alterations, in relation to the type of spelling errors present in the written preparation and to the spelling aspects. The model used will be the retrospective cohort, by sample of conglomerate, with children who are currently enrolled in grades 4 and 5 in schools in the city of Ribeirão Preto. A history of previous history and the following instruments will be used for data collection with those responsible: ABEP, Family Environment Resource Inventory (RAF) and Social Skills Inventory (SSRS). From the results obtained in the SSRS, the children will be divided into 2 groups: G1 (with social and / or behavioral skills) and G2 (unchanged group). The children will be submitted to the evaluation of writing done from the Proof of Dictation Writing and Spontaneous Elaboration so that aspects related to the spelling and spelling errors are verified. The data collected throughout the study will be tabulated in Excel spreadsheets and for statistical inferences will be used descriptive statistics for the groups characterization and the Equal Proportions Test will be used Between two Samples for the comparison of the historical data physician, presence of intercurrences of children and others, and t Student test for unpaired samples for comparison of writing variables. The level of significance will be ± = 0.05.
