Abstract

This project aims to analyze the constructional statute of paratactic compositions, in terms of the pairing between form and meaning, trying to recognize in the composition paratactic ways, the formal correlates that are allied to interpretative mechanisms brought into play by such constructions. The main question to be answered is: in the lack of together, what is the nature of the paratactic interpretations? Starting from the assumption that there is a correlation between the junction layouts and discursive tradition in which the text is inserted (Kabatek, 2006), in the sense that tradition determines the use of certain linguistic constructs, the answer to the question will be given from the analysis of plays statements, which supposedly show revealing data of a writing constituted of a heterogeneous mode by the complex interweaving of oral and literate social practices.
