Abstract

The goal of the research stage abroad, to be held in Canada, is investigating the cooperation agreement for the development of vocational and technological education, established between the Conselho Nacional das Instituições da Rede Federal de Educação Profissional e Tecnológica and the Association of Canadian Commmunity Colleges. The internship project binds the master's research Relations between education, work and development: expansion of technician high school in Lula da Silva's administration (2003-2010), funded by FAPESP. In the development of bibliographical research and fieldwork proved the importance of partnerships with Canada in the area of vocational education, whose central objective is the development of public policies in both countries. The agreement which establishes, in addition to joint actions within the framework of vocational education, seems to be set up, especially for Brazil, a reference to the development of this mode of teaching.
