Abstract

In São Carlos, primary attention is divided into five Regional Health Administration (ARES) that consisted of Basic Health Units (UBS) and Family Health Units (USF). Informed decision-making is contemplated as a clinical patient encounter procedure, mainly at USFs. Nevertheless, the patient's perspective has not been taken into consideration in these interactions. This project evaluates the patient's perception of Shared Decision Making in Primary Attention in São Carlos, Brazil.(AU)
