Abstract

In this work the non-linear control techniques based on the Generalized Energy Function of Control to the FACTS device controlers of type TCSC design will be used. This technique was recently developed by Silva el al. (2009) which make an extension of the Control Lyapunov Function for a wider class of problems. Beyond Allowing to design of controllers this technique gives estimates of the system stability region and, as a consequence, may lead to a sistematique contribution to the controller in the transient stability field.
