Abstract

The objective of this trial will be to evaluate nitrogen rates in top dressing and number of plants per hole on yield of squash. The experiment will be conducted in Experimental Farm São Manuel, belonging to FCA/UNESP-Botucatu. It will be studied the Miriam hybrid, in one experiment with ten treatments and four replicates, in randomized blocks design, and it will be evaluated the following rates: 0; 63; 125; 188 and 240 kg ha-1 of nitrogen in top dressing and two numbers of plants per hope (1 and 2), characterizing the factorial 5x2. Urea will be the nitrogen source. Leaves number per plant, shoot fresh and dry matter, fruit diameter and length, fruits weight and number per plant and per ha, and macronutients contents in plants at the end of cycle will be evaluated. The data will be submitted to analysis of variance and, if necessary, regression. (AU)
