Abstract

The project involves the computerization of cartographic documents (maps and architectural plans) of the industrial heritage of EFNOB/Bauru, with a view to a subsequent migration of these documents into a database providing online access in a digital format. The research interest is in providing the file of cartographic documents in digital format, with the possibility to access the internet thus contributing to an effective recovery of the industrial heritage of the railway EFNOB Bauru, for the preservation of documents which constitute the acquis and for better use of the file by entering the facilities to access, query and manipulation allowed by digital technologies. This research is part of a project entitled "EFNOB Bauru: Center of Memory and Virtual Information", which is part of the larger project called "EFNOB/Bauru, 0 Km.", Notice FAPESP/CONDEPHAAT N. 9/2011, Process N. 11/51014-6 and Process CONDEPHAAT N. 12/50041-2.(AU)
