Abstract

In this research project is proposed to optimize the process of obtaining blends using natural rubber (NR) latex rubber (Hevea clone Brasilienses), with the insertion of Synthetic Rubber "Stirene-Butadiene-Rubber (SBR)," polymerizing inorganic sources such as monomers of isoprene, butadiene and styrene using the liquid phases of the components. The blends are obtained by the method of casting as desired membrane thickness. The process is done manually in different proportions of the constituents being done prior thermogravimetric study of all the latex in order to determine the percentage of dry rubber present in the liquid then is inserted into the liquid solution of the mixture adding coagulation agents after, drying is performed in an oven at different concentrations by weight, times and temperatures. The studies of characterization of the blends are made and compared to those found commercially, using the techniques of scanning calorimetry (DSC, TGA, DMA and TG / FT-IR) spectroscopy, infrared (FT-IR) and micro-Raman mechanical tests (tensile strength, abrasion, penetration and water vapor, bending), microscopy (ESEM and OM), rheometric analysis, viscosity, rheometric torque and hardness shore A. What to expect with this new process to produce the blend BN / SBR is the optimization of processes in the clothing industry for their products. (AU)
