Abstract

The Digitaria insularis (L.) Fedde, is one of the weeds that are resistant to glyphosate in Brazil.It importance growth each day, as uncontrolled, it start to take over different agricultural systems. The aim of this study will be the characterization of glyphosate effect in different biotypes of this specie and chemical control options. Firs will be evaluated the leaf composition of this plant, biochemical and structural, by polar and no polar waxes, stomatal density and leaf structures by electronically microscopy. Later, the genetic constitution of different biotypes will be analyzed by the correlation with the glyphosate resistance degrees by multivariate analysis. In the end, will be evaluated alternative herbicides associations sprays with different glyphosate salts and different ACCase herbicides. The effect of the rates of these associations will be evaluated too by isolograms curves. The data will be submitted to ANOVA analyses and when significant, the means will be compared by SAS. (AU)
