Abstract

This work aims to analyze transcriptome data obtained from retina tissues in mouse models. The disease underlying the study is Retinopathy of prematurity. The goal is to identify potential drug targets. Transcriptome data will be generated by RNAseq. Various bioinformatics tools will be employed. RT-PCR will be done to confirm promising transcripts. We aim to achieve a new systemic understanding of the genes and pathways involved in retinal angiogenesis.
