Abstract We plan to study the structure of certain graded modules for current algebras over simple Lie algebras of type G2 and D4. These modules are closely related to the concept of minimal affiniziations of quantum groups. In particular, we plan to prove a conjecture of the advisor of the project that, when applied to algebras of type G2, states that these modules are isomorphic to the classical limits of the minimal affinizations of the corresponding quantum group. Foralgebras containing a subalgebra of type D4 the conjecture was only partially formulated. We plan to provide the correct general formulation of the conjecture in this case and prove it in type D4.
