Abstract

The objective of this project is to determine the requirements of threonine for pullets based on the methods dose-response and factorial. For this, it will be used datas from performance and comparative slaughter trials with pullets (already done), and different models will be used to estimate threonine requirements. Statistical analyzes of datas to determine the optimal level of threonine using dose-response method and the parameters of the factorial method will be performed in SAS 9.1. Besides the analysis of the results, will be held discussions with the researcher Dr. Robert M. Gous, where it can contribute to the enrichment of the project, and also for the preparation of the doctoral thesis of the student and the writing of the papers in English for publication later. (AU)
