Abstract

The sintered compacts will be analyzed by FEG-SEM and FEG-SEM/EDS for microstructural and morphological features with special attention to the formation of precipitates and / or segregated in grain boundaries, since the work done so far has obtained a dense ceramic with ohmic behavior, however the conditions, temperature, heating rate and isotherms, sintering in a microwave oven may have been the cause of the agent densifying microstructures have been precipitated on the surface of SnO2 ceramics. To obtain these results the microwave sintered samples obtained from the Institute of Chemistry-UNESP Araraquara-Department of Biochemistry and Chemistry technology will be brought to the UA-Portugal - Centre for Research in Ceramics and Composites - CICECO, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Ana Maria Oliveira Rocha Senos (AU)
