Abstract

In this project we propose the develop of an enantioselective Heck-Matsuda arylation reaction of N-protected 3-pyrrolines. There is a single example of this reaction in the literature, which was reported by the group of Prof. Carlos Correia, from Unicamp. The arylated products obtained in these enantioselective Heck-Matsuda reactions will be employed in concise routes to some bioactive compounds, such as mescaline, rolipram and baclofen. Moreover, chiral ligands of the type phosphite-oxazoline will be sintesized and evaluated in the Heck-Matsuda reaction aiming at extending the scope of the methodology with new and effective chiral ligands.
