Abstract

Analyzes the differential treatment clauses for the developing countries in the WTO. Takes into consideration the current political and economical changes in the international scene: the rupture of the hegemony of developed nations and a new multipolar order, in which the developing countries play a greater roll. Gives particular attention to Brazil, Russia, India and China (BRIC), their roll in the negotiations and their participation in the Dispute Settlement Body of the WTO.
