Abstract

The prevalence of sleep deprivation is rising among adolescents due to studies, extra scholar activities, or intense social life. However, the poor quality of sleep may induce uncountable injuries to intellectual development, causing behaviors changes and metabolic disorders. Obesity has become the hotspot in public health and it is apparently associated with impairment in sleep quality not only as a factor to sleep disturbance but also as a consequence of its deprivation. Therefore, better access to this population is required to investigate possible associations between the quality of sleep and factors that may be related to this. Thus, the data will also provide a better quality of life to the adolescents.(AU)
