Abstract

Solar heaters constitute an adequate technology to the tropical and subtropical climates to heat the water of the bath through the present energy in the solar light, provoking significant reductions in the consumption of electric energy. Aiming at its installation in low income communities, this technology with packings was used recycle as bottles long milk PET and boxes life, reducing still more the expenses and using the garbage for the aid of production of thermal energy. This technique of the use of solar heaters with dismissable materials was developed in Santa Catarina for Mr. José Alcino Alano, winner of the Super prize Ecology 2004, category ONG, promoted for the Super-Interesting magazine. This equipment was patented with the intention of that profit was not explored by companies aiming at, and its project is of public domain. This research project aims to study a system of water heating by solar energy of low-cost using recyclable materials, enabling the development of a computer system able to evaluate the thermal comfort of using such a heater for the time and duration of use bath. This system will be developed based on fuzzy logic, establishing the creation of genetic algorithms that are able to mimic part of human reasoning. This logic brings computational methods and human reasoning, which allows to evaluate the thermal comfort of the heated water by computational methods. These methods will be summarized in a computer program (Matlab) based on rules created from this logic, we call system based on fuzzy rules. Thus, it is expected to prove the thermodynamic efficiency of water heating system of low cost, which is currently installed at the Laboratory of Computational and Applied Mathematics (LabMAC) of Campus Experimental Tupã. Moreover, the disclosure will be held for the rural and local community and the solar heater through an extension project authored by the leader of this proposal, and is also expected to obtain satisfactory results in this study for its disclosure also be made.(AU)
