They will be examined 180 specimens of Leporinus obtusidens, 180 specimens of Leporinus elongatus and 180 specimens of Leporinus copelandii in the period between April 2013 to April 2015. The sampling will be bimonthly and at random. The fishes will be necropsied and the parasites obtained will be quantified, prepared end mounted to taxonomic determination and calculating the population and community descriptors, calculated for each host species and used to study the dynamic and spatial variation.
